The forum will seek to identify processes by which stakeholders ; regional navies, international navies, Information Sharing Architecture including the YCOC and Industry partners can contribute to counter piracy operations. The aim will be to harmonise the information sharing architecture in both the YCOC and BMP West Africa in identifying effective practices in order to implement measures and operational tools to optimise responses to piracy and armed robbery. The Forum seeks to implement a credible incident response by reducing pirate activity though effective collective deterrence. Industry are a key stakeholder to this forum and will work in partnership to support the aims of the forum.
